Departure at 9.30 a.m. from S. Marco di Castellabate’s harbour. Trekking or riding along the coastline we will reach the little Licosa’s harbour where we can admire the mermaids’ island at a distance. Always skirting the coast we will cross a thick wood of “Aleppo” pines and carob trees until reaching Ogliastro coast where we can admire Cilento’s Flisch and the bay of the Ripe Rosse coast. A short break for a picnic lunch on the beach, a swim and then in the afternoon we will continue our excursion along the road leading back to the little fishing village of San Marco di Castellabate. If open we can also visit the birds’ ringing center.
